Come hear writing from Margaret Noodin, Keith Taylor, Donovan Hohn, and Anna Clark
Margaret Noodin is the editor of Ojibwe.net, an American poet and Professor of English and American Indian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the Author of Bawaajimo: A Dialect of Dreams in Anishinaabe Language and Literature and Weweni: Poems in Anishinaabomowin and English.
Keith Taylor taught in the undergraduate and graduate creative writing programs at the University of Michigan, and directed the Bear River Writers’ Conference. His most recent book, The Bird-While (Wayne State University Press) won the Bronze Award from the Forward Indies Poetry Book of the Year for 2017.
Donovan Hohn is the recipient of the Whiting Writer’s Award, A National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship, and a Knight-Wallace Fellowship. A former Features Editor of GQ and Contributing Editor of Harper’s, Hohn now teaches Creative Writing at Wayne State University and lives with his family in Ann Arbor.
Anna Clark is a journalist in Detroit. She edited A Detroit Anthology, a Michigan Notable Book, and she was a 2017 Knight-Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan. Her book The Poisoned City: Flint’s Water and the American Urban Tragedy won the Hillman Prize in Book Journalism and the Rachel Carson Environment Book Award.
