Risa Miller, recipient of the PEN New England Discovery Award, is the author of two novels, Welcome to Heavenly Heights and My Before and After Life, both published by St. Martin’s Press, and numerous essays, stories and book reviews. She was a long time faculty member of the Creative Writing department at Emerson College.
